BERKELEY

Once part of a series of rowhouses, the existing structure was completely gutted and redesigned. Needing to increase usable space, a two-story structure, consisting of an eat-in kitchen and master suite, was added to the rear. A corridor connects the old and the new, creating a private courtyard space in between.  The interiors are modern with a clean and simple material palette.
